The Commercial Products team builds the systems for Sales Operations, Traffic, Finance, and Presentation to support compliant revenue and scheduling across our channels. As a Senior Architect, you will lead architecture design, mentor engineers in cloud development, and drive high-quality code reviews and performant database

Competenze

• Cloud experience with AWS or equivalent
• Proficient in .NET Framework and .NET Core
• Advanced database experience with PostgreSQL and SQL Server
• Deep understanding of event-driven architecture and WCF services

Job Description

The Commercial Products team manages the custom-built systems that power our Sales Operations, Traffic, Finance, and Presentation teams. These systems are critical to our linear broadcast schedules and all broadcast-related revenue.

Day to day you will:

• Lead & Architect: Design and maintain complex integration flows and system architecture.
• Mentor: Guide engineers in cloud development practices and champion a culture of excellence.
• Code & Review: Collaborate on high-standard code reviews and solve complex technical problems.
• Optimise: Write performant database operations and ensure a "security-first" approach.
• Facilitate: Support Agile ceremonies and drive DevOps best practices.

What You'll Bring:

• Cloud Expertise: AWS certifications or demonstrable practical experience in cloud environments.
• The Stack: Advanced knowledge of .NET Framework and .NET Core.
• Data Mastery: Advanced database experience (PostgreSQL, SQL Server) with the ability to optimise complex queries.
• Architecture: Deep understanding of Event-driven application design and experience working with WCF services.
• Ways of Working: A solid grasp of DevOps principles and a passion for staying ahead of the latest technology trends.
