Job summary

Compas PTY is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and deliver secure, scalable cloud-native solutions on AWS, using Java, Python, and modern DevOps practices on a major government program.

The role requires onsite attendance in Canberra for the first 3 months, with hybrid arrangements thereafter, and requires holding an AGSVA NV1 clearance.

Contract Duration: Contract to 30 June 2027 with 2 x 12-month extension options
Security Clearance Requirement: Must hold an AGSVA NV1 clearance

• Experience designing complex software and systems using secure, scalable architecture patterns.
• Strong systems integration, automation, CI/CD and technical leadership capability.
