Job summary

Compas Pty Ltd is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead cloud and data infrastructure delivery using AWS, Terraform and Kubernetes. This hybrid role requires three in-office days per week in the ACT region.

Candidates should have extensive AWS design and DevOps experience, with GitLab/GitHub proficiency and coding in Python, JavaScript and Golang, reinforced by Docker and Kubernetes expertise.

• Strong DevOps/CI‑CD expertise with GitLab, GitHub, Artifactory and Jira.
• Coding capability across Python, JavaScript and Golang with Git and Agile.
• Deep Docker and Kubernetes experience in containerisation and orchestration.

Senior DevOps Engineer| AWS

Lead complex cloud and data infrastructure delivery as a Principal Software Engineer, combining AWS, DevOps, Terraform and Kubernetes expertise with strategic technical leadership. This hybrid role requires a minimum of 3 days each week in the office.

Essential Tasks

• Lead the design, development, deployment and support of cloud and data infrastructure.
• Prioritise delivery initiatives and ensure solutions follow integration best practices.
• Lead Agile project teams and work with stakeholders to define requirements and priorities.
• Provide strategic technical advice and support complex delivery and stakeholder outcomes.

Key Criteria

• Extensive AWS experience designing, implementing and managing scalable cloud solutions.
