Job summary

Indigitise Pty Ltd in Canberra, Australia is seeking Software Engineers to lead cloud-native software initiatives, oversee development, ensure quality and scalable solutions across teams. The role focuses on designing API/microservices on AWS, implementing serverless and containerised patterns, and guiding infrastructure with IaC.

You will collaborate across delivery teams in an Agile environment and contribute to production excellence.

Qualifications

• Designing and developing cloud-native applications, APIs, microservices and integration hosted on AWS;
• Building event-driven, serverless and containerised solutions leveraging AWS services including Lambda, ECS, EKS, API Gateway, EventBridge, SNS, SQS and Step Functions;
• Designing and provisioning AWS infrastructure using IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation, AWS CDK) in accordance with security, governance and operational requirements;
• Developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, deployment, release and infrastructure provisioning processes across development, test and production environments;
• Developing reusable cloud components, services and deployment patterns that support multiple business initiatives and improve delivery capability;
• Translating business requirements and user stories into high-quality, secure, scalable and resilient cloud-based software solutions;
• Performing testing, code reviews and quality assurance including unit, integration, automated testing and defect resolution;
• Investigating, analysing and resolving production incidents, defects and performance issues;
• Collaborating on technical design and architecture, including solution design workshops, architecture reviews and cloud governance forums;
• Providing specialist technical advice on AWS technologies, cloud-native architecture patterns and emerging cloud capabilities to guide solution design decisions;
• Communicating technical concepts and architecture decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders; build effective relationships with business, technical teams and delivery partners;
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies and contemporary delivery practices to support;
• Functional and Non-Functional Specifications.
