Job summary

Datacom is seeking an experienced Senior Software Asset Management Consultant to lead SAM projects for large commercial and government clients in Australia. You will collaborate with a nationwide SAM team to deliver licensing reviews, compliance management, and value-driven recommendations.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in SAM, with strong Oracle licensing knowledge and experience delivering managed services for Tier 1 publishers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Software Asset Management, with Oracle licensing and compliance expertise.
• Lead activities related to software licensing, audit defense and compliance management for Tier 1 publishers (Oracle, IBM, Microsoft).
• Deliver SAM managed services projects for Commercial and Government clients.
• Role excludes software licensing sales targets.

Responsibilities

• Lead SAM Consulting projects and collaborate with SAM team and licensing consultants.
• Deliver compliance reviews and licensing modelling recommendations.
• Improve audit readiness and defense posture for customers.
• Develop, present and implement licensing optimization strategies.
