Accenture Melbourne is seeking a strategic Senior IT Asset Management (ITAM) Consultant with ITSM integration expertise. This role focuses on architectural convergence, aligning asset data with service management to drive lifecycle economics and cost optimization.

You will design end-to-end HAM & SAM processes, ensure CMDB integrity, and embed FinOps into ITAM workflows, bridging IT operations, procurement, security, and finance to deliver tangible business value.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT Asset Management (SAM/HAM) with ITSM integration.
• Deep understanding of asset lifecycle economics and software licensing.
• Strong ITIL 4 knowledge, especially Change Enablement and Service Configuration.
• IAITAM certifications preferred; ITIL Foundations or higher required.
• Ability to map assets to business services with a platform-agnostic view.

Responsabilités

• Design, implement, and improve HAM & SAM end-to-end processes.
• Govern asset lifecycle from procurement to disposal with cost optimization.
• Lead software license audits, vendor true-ups, and renewals.
• Embed FinOps into ITAM to track cloud spend and costs vs. value.
• Integrate ITAM data into ITSM (Incident/Problem/Change/Request).
• Ensure CMDB integrity and relationships between assets and services.
• Collaborate with Procurement, IT Operations, Security, and Finance.
