Qualifications
Experience managing software licences across multiple vendors.
Strong knowledge of software licensing rules and ITAM/SAM industry standards.
Understanding of IT asset management across the full lifecycle.
Familiarity with ITAM tools (discovery, deployment, entitlement management).
ITAM-related certifications or training (desirable).
Responsibilities
Manage IT assets across all phases of the lifecycle, from planning to retirement.
Ensure compliance with software licensing terms and manage complex client software requests.
Analyse hardware/software discovery and entitlement data to support compliance and optimisation.
Review contracts and licensing agreements to identify responsibilities, risks, and opportunities.
Work with clients to audit software usage, quantify licence requirements, and identify optimisation opportunities.
Recommend strategies for risk reduction, licence reclamation, software harvesting, and re‑licensing.
Engage with ICT vendors on behalf of clients and manage stakeholder relationships.
Develop client‑facing documentation including compliance reports, SLAs, and SOPs.
Mentor colleagues, transfer knowledge to clients, and contribute to company initiatives.
