Job summary

Continental Bridge AUS is seeking a Business Development Manager for software and AI projects in Melbourne. You will own the entire sale from prospecting to close, earning a base salary plus uncapped commissions. Reports to the founder; decisions are made quickly.

Typical deals range from $30k to $300k with a $500k target in the first year. Hybrid work in Melbourne with 2-3 days in the office and client visits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years selling software, ERP, IT services or technology projects to business owners/managers.
• Proven record of closing deals of $30k+ and hitting targets.
• Existing network in food, produce, wholesale, logistics, warehousing or manufacturing.
• Comfortable explaining software to non-technical stakeholders.
• Self-driven; able to build own pipeline without SDR leads.

Responsibilities

• Find and win new customers (hunting role).
• Leverage personal network to open doors in target sectors.
• Lead full sales cycle: initial call, site visit, demo, proposal, close.
• Collaborate with delivery team to scope projects and hand over after sale.
• Hit a $500k closed sales target in the first 12 months.
