Job summary

WattleCore Technologies Pty Ltd in Sydney seeks an experienced Snowflake Architect for a 6+ month contract to lead data migration projects from legacy systems to Snowflake and to strengthen our data architecture.

You will design scalable migration strategies, collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensure data integrity and security during migration, optimise Snowflake performance, and maintain clear documentation of data architecture and processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in data architecture and cloud solutions.
• Proven experience migrating data to Snowflake from legacy systems.
• Strong understanding of cloud technologies and data warehousing concepts.
• Cloud certifications (e.g., Snowflake, AWS, Azure) preferred.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data migration strategies to Snowflake from legacy systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define data architecture.
