Job summary

Texture is seeking a Technical Lead for their Data team in Australia to guide data platform design and governance. You will collaborate with customer management, internal teams, and CRM groups to keep all stakeholders aligned and to contribute to data strategy documentation.

The role focuses on Snowflake architecture, live data access patterns, and data sharing, with a hybrid work model and a 12-month contract starting mid-September. Fortnightly pay and no overseas applications are noted.

Job description

Our client need a fabulous Technical Lead for their Data team. You will:

• Collaborates with customer team’s management, their internal team and SME's and CRM teams to ensure all are aligned.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architect to ensure project governance and contribute to required documentation for example Data Strategy documentation.
• Report and ensure adherence to the data capabilities policies
• Data Platform stream are responsible for the raw data going into the Data Platform and then from the views on top of the silver layer to target environments.
• Raise any risks, dependencies and blockers with Project Manager.
• Resolve technical blockers and complex requirements with a hands on approach in collaboration with the team.
• Own the conceptual-to-logical design and the modelling patterns the program builds to.
• Set the shape: entities, boundaries, mastering, keys and relationships.
• Own the design and patterns for how the model is implemented on the platform - layering, historization and load patterns.
• Experience working within Architectural process and procedures (standard Solution Architect type stuff!)

To enable a good cultural fit, you will need:

• Hands-on experience with Snowflake, including live data access patterns and Zero-Copy Cloning.
• Experience building reporting, analytics, or application solutions that query Snowflake directly.
• Strong understanding of Snowflake architecture, performance optimisation, and data sharing capabilities
• Experience managing non-production environments using Snowflake Zero-Copy Cloning
• Familiarity with CRMs ideally Salesforce
• Be an active listener who, when necessary, can follow instructions

Mechanics

• 12 month contract role with long term extensions for the ideal candidate starting 18th September for a handover
