Job summary

Halcyon Knights is seeking a Senior Data Engineer for a 12 month contract in Sydney. You will work on a major data transformation programme, designing and building scalable data solutions and end-to-end pipelines to support a large‑scale data warehouse migration.

You’ll contribute hands-on with Snowflake, dbt, and Informatica IICS, in a hybrid Sydney environment, collaborating with both technical teams and business stakeholders to deliver complex data initiatives.

Qualifications

• Hands-on data engineering experience in large-scale migration projects.
• Experience with Snowflake, dbt, data modelling and ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to operate in complex environments.

Join a major data transformation programme where you'll play a key role in modernising and migrating enterprise data platforms.

Working across a complex data environment, you'll design and build scalable data solutions, develop end-to-end pipelines and help deliver a significant data warehouse migration.

What we’re looking for:

Strong Data Engineering / DW & BI experience, particularly across large-scale migration programmes. You'll ideally have hands-on experience with Snowflake and dbt, alongside strong data modelling, ETL/ELT and stakeholder management capability.

You'll be hands-on across:
