Sedgman is seeking an experienced SMP Checker in Brisbane, Australia to oversee importance details in Mineral Processing projects. The role involves independent checking of designs, ensuring compliance with standards, and mentoring designers for continuous improvement.

Applicants should have at least 10 years’ experience, including 4 years in shop detailing, and relevant qualifications. Sedgman offers a collaborative culture and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in design/consultancy/operational environment.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in shop detailing/management.
• Experience in offshore engineering design management is highly regarded.

Responsabilités

• Perform independent checking of SMP drawings and 3D models for accuracy and compliance.
• Review interfaces between structural, mechanical, and piping packages.
• Assess constructability and installation considerations.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of design systems.

Connaissances

Strong background in Structural and Mechanical checking

Coal or Minerals industry experience
