Job summary

Whizdom seeks a Systems Analyst – Siebel designer to deliver business and systems analysis, functional design, and solution support for the Siebel CRM platform and integrated systems. You will engage with business, policy and external stakeholders to translate requirements into fit-for-purpose designs and support delivery across the full solution lifecycle.

The role requires strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills, SFIA Level 6, and 3–5+ years in IT analysis and design,

Qualifications

• Minimum SFIA Level 6.
• Tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in ICT.
• 3-5+ years’ experience in IT systems analysis and design.
• Prior experience working in the Australian Government, on large and complex IT systems.
• 5+ years of recent experience with Siebel CRM in any role,
• At least 2 years recently working as a Siebel Analyst-Designer.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business analysts and staff at all levels to determine business requirements.
• Negotiate scope within technical and resourcing limitations.
• Plan and facilitate workshops with business and external stakeholders to clarify requirements and present design solutions.
• Work closely with architects, UX designers, product design assurance and developers to ensure feasible designs.
• Develop and document detailed functional design specifications, user stories, mock-ups, diagrams and other artefacts.
• Peer review colleagues' design deliverables and perform confidence checks of built functionality.
• Coordinate the implementation of solution designs with relevant stakeholders.
• Analyse and resolve design issues raised during development and post go-live.
• Transfer skills and knowledge to departmental officers.
