Job summary

The City of Greater Geelong seeks a ServiceNow Specialist to design, develop and deploy scalable solutions across ITSM, HRSD and procurement operations. You will configure modules, build automation, and lead custom app development on the ServiceNow platform.

You will work with a cross-functional team, participate in Scrum ceremonies, and contribute to system integrations using REST/SOAP. A tertiary qualification in computer science is required, with strong IT service management experience.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Experience with core ServiceNow modules: ITSM, HRSD, Sourcing & Procurement Operations.
• Advanced expertise in Flow Designer, Service Catalog, UI Policies, Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions aligned with ITSM/HRSD/Procurement requirements.
• Configure and customise ServiceNow modules, including flows, forms, UI policies, business rules, scripting, and integrations.
• Build automation workflows and self-service capabilities to improve user experience and efficiency.
• Lead development of custom applications on the ServiceNow platform to extend core functionality.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and plan/backlog refinement.
