Job summary

The Australian Attorney-General's Department in Canberra seeks an experienced ServiceNow Developer to lead the design, configuration, development and maintenance of ServiceNow applications and platform components.

You will work closely with technology and business stakeholders and external vendors to analyze, build and deliver solutions aligned with best practices and organisational objectives, while mentoring a team to uplift ServiceNow maturity across the IT division.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and configuring enterprise-scale ServiceNow applications.
• Certified Application Developer (essential) and Implementation Specialist desirable.
• Experience with PSDS, HRSD and CSM modules.
• Strong knowledge of workflow automation and scripting (JavaScript, Glide API).
• Experience with Flow Designer, Integration Hub and API integrations (REST/SOAP).
• Commitment to knowledge sharing and continual learning.
• Experience in government or large enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, configuration and development of ServiceNow modules and components.
• Integrate ServiceNow with other systems via APIs and web services.
• Support testing, release management and production stability.
• Collaborate on solution design following enterprise standards.
• Mentor a team to uplift ServiceNow maturity across IT.
