Job summary

Talent Corp is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Engineer to become a key technical authority for a large, global ServiceNow environment, combining deep platform expertise with solution architecture, technical leadership and hands-on problem solving.

This is not a role for producing architecture documents from afar; you’ll work closely with engineers, product teams and stakeholders to shape solutions and provide technical direction behind the platform.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience across enterprise ITSM, service operations or related platform environments.
• 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow experience.
• Experience across ServiceNow architecture, solution design or technical leadership.
• Strong knowledge of integrations, APIs, authentication, resiliency and monitoring.
• Experience with large, complex organisations and distributed technical teams.
• An understanding of enterprise considerations including security, scalability, change management, compliance and platform governance.
• ServiceNow certifications, with CSA required and additional architecture, development, integration or CIS credentials highly regarded.
• A relevant degree or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior technical leadership and architecture expertise across the ServiceNow platform.
• Define platform architecture, technical standards, reusable patterns and engineering guardrails.
• Work directly with product and business teams to understand requirements and determine the best technical approach.
• Remain hands on, jumping into complex problems, whiteboarding solutions and supporting engineers when needed.
• Guide architecture across integrations, security, performance, CMDB, data models and platform design.
• Help shape the technical roadmap, including integrations, platform improvements and technical debt.
• Act as an escalation point for complex ServiceNow issues and support root cause analysis where required.
• Review higher risk technical designs and ensure solutions remain scalable, supportable and upgrade safe.
• Mentor engineers and help raise technical capability across a distributed global team.
• Provide technical leadership across complex initiatives from design through testing, release and operational handover.
