Cognizant seeks an experienced ServiceNow Solution Architect to lead the design, architecture, and delivery of enterprise ServiceNow solutions across complex client environments in Australia.

You will collaborate with business stakeholders, delivery teams, and technical leaders to shape innovative ServiceNow solutions that improve customer experiences, optimise service operations, and drive digital transformation outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering ServiceNow solutions across large enterprise environments.
• Proven leadership of ServiceNow architecture, implementation and integration initiatives.
• Strong understanding of ServiceNow capabilities, architecture principles and design methodologies.
• Experience designing end-to-end ServiceNow solutions for digital transformation and service optimisation.
• Knowledge of ServiceNow modules, workflows, integrations and best practices.
• Ability to translate strategic requirements into technical solutions for business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead ServiceNow architecture initiatives from inception through implementation and enhancement.
• Design scalable, secure, and maintainable ServiceNow solutions aligned with business goals and enterprise standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into architectures.
• Provide architectural direction and governance across implementations and integrations.
• Oversee integrations between ServiceNow and enterprise applications and third-party systems.
• Promote reuse of architecture assets, frameworks, and best practices to improve delivery efficiency.
• Support delivery teams with technical direction and governance throughout projects.
• Lead architecture reviews to ensure performance, scalability, and security requirements are met.
• Produce architecture documentation and artefacts to support delivery and support.
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, project managers, and client stakeholders for successful delivery.
• Drive innovation by identifying ServiceNow capabilities to enhance client solutions.

We are currently seeking an experienced ServiceNow Solution Architect to lead the design, architecture, and delivery of enterprise ServiceNow solutions across complex client environments.

This role provides the opportunity to work closely with business stakeholders, delivery teams, and technical leaders to shape innovative ServiceNow solutions that improve customer experiences, optimise service operations, and drive digital transformation outcomes. You will play a key role in defining solution architectures, guiding implementation teams, and ensuring solutions align with both business objectives and enterprise architecture standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead ServiceNow architecture initiatives from inception through to implementation and ongoing enhancement.
• Design scalable, secure, and maintainable ServiceNow solutions that align with business goals and enterprise architecture standards.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective solution architectures.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor and subject matter expert across ServiceNow implementations and integrations.
• Provide architectural leadership across ServiceNow modules and digital workflow solutions.
• Design and oversee integrations between ServiceNow and enterprise applications, platforms, and third-party systems.
• Drive the adoption of reusable architecture assets, frameworks, and best practices to improve delivery efficiency and solution consistency.
• Support implementation teams by providing technical direction, design governance, and architectural guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead architecture reviews and ensure solutions meet performance, scalability, security, and compliance requirements.
• Produce architecture documentation, solution designs, and technical artefacts that support implementation and ongoing support activities.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, project managers, and client stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
• Contribute to innovation and continuous improvement initiatives by identifying new ServiceNow capabilities and opportunities to enhance client solutions.

Skills & Experience

• Extensive experience delivering ServiceNow solutions across enterprise environments.
• Proven experience leading ServiceNow architecture, implementation, and integration initiatives.
• Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform capabilities, architecture principles, and solution design methodologies.
• Experience designing end-to-end ServiceNow solutions that support digital transformation and service optimisation objectives.
• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow modules, workflows, integrations, and platform best practices.
• Experience working directly with business stakeholders to translate strategic and operational requirements into technical solutions.
• Ability to provide architectural leadership across multiple projects and delivery teams.
• Strong documentation skills, including solution architectures, technical designs, and governance artefacts.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, consulting, and communication skills.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities with a focus on delivering practical, business-aligned outcomes.
• Experience working within Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery environments.
