ARA Electrical is seeking a skilled security technician to install, commission, service and maintain integrated electronic security systems across Victoria. You will work on CCTV, access control and monitoring equipment, troubleshoot complex faults and configure platform integrations for diverse client sites.

The role requires 1+ years in installation/maintenance, a Victorian Security Licence, a White Card and a Cabling Registration.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in security system installation/maintenance and a solid understanding of IP networks.
• Current Victorian Security Licence.
• Current Driver's Licence.
• White Card (Construction Induction Card).
• Cabling Registration/Licence.
• Experience with platforms such as Integriti, Genetec, 2N, or Axis will be highly regarded.
• Additional experience in IP networking, fibre infrastructure and integrated security systems will be viewed favourably.

Responsabilités

• Installing, maintaining and repairing electronic security systems including CCTV cameras, alarm systems, access control systems and monitoring equipment.
• Troubleshooting and fault-finding across software, network and field devices.
• Programming and configuration of integrated security platforms.
• Preventative and reactive maintenance works.
• Supporting projects from start-up through to handover.
• Providing technical support and practical solutions directly to customers.
• Completing service documentation and reports.
• Conduct regular inspections and testing of security systems to ensure they are functioning correctly and meeting client specifications.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose faults in security systems, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
