Job summary

Showtime Consulting is seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure & Systems Engineer in Canberra to design, build, and support secure enterprise infrastructure across cloud, hybrid, and on‑premises environments. You will implement automation, strengthen security, and enable reliable operations in Defence or government‑grade contexts.

The role requires hands‑on expertise in Azure/AWS, VMware, Nutanix, and IaC tooling, plus strong scripting skills and cross‑functional collaboration with security

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience supporting enterprise cloud and hybrid infrastructure.
• Strong cloud infrastructure design and automation scripting capability.
• Experience with Windows and Linux administration in enterprise environments.
• Knowledge of IAM, PKI, Entra ID, and security hardening principles.
• Experience with Terraform, CI/CD tools, and infrastructure as code.
• Excellent communication and ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support enterprise cloud and hybrid infrastructure solutions.
• Build and maintain Windows and Linux server platforms.
• Manage identity, authentication, and access management technologies.
• Automate infrastructure with scripting and IaC practices.
• Support platform integration, deployments, and environment management.
• Configure virtualization, storage, backup, and recovery solutions.
• Maintain security controls, governance, and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with architects, security specialists, DevOps, and operations teams.
