Job summary

Showtime Consulting is seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer/Systems Engineer to support cloud platform delivery and infrastructure operations within a secure government environment in Australia. You will deploy, manage, automate, and optimise cloud infrastructure and platform services, contributing to IaC initiatives and platform reliability across development, test and production environments.

The role requires hands-on experience with AWS, infrastructure as code, and deployment pipelines

Qualifications

Experience deploying and supporting AWS cloud infrastructure and platform services.
Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation technologies.
Experience developing deployment pipelines and DevSecOps capabilities.
Experience managing development, test, and production environments.
Strong understanding of cloud operations, monitoring, and platform reliability.
Experience supporting enterprise cloud and infrastructure environments.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Experience working within Agile delivery environments.

Responsibilities

Configure, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure and platform services.
Develop automation, deployment pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code solutions.
Support DevSecOps practices across platform delivery activities.
Maintain development, test, and production environments.
Monitor platform performance, health, and availability.
Improve platform resilience, reliability, and operational efficiency.
Support cloud platform upgrades, enhancements, and lifecycle activities.
Collaborate with engineering, security, and delivery teams to implement solutions.
Develop and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.
Support continuous improvement and cloud modernisation initiatives.
