Job summary

Department of Education in Melbourne is seeking a skilled administrator to support the Senior Secondary Coordination and Delivery Branch. You will assist with the development, implementation and review of VCE, VCE VET and related priorities for senior secondary students.

You will prepare briefings and communications, respond to enquiries, update webpages and coordinate events and professional learning activities to support program delivery.

• Essential: Experience supporting the core functions of a high-performing team.
• Desirable: Program administration experience in an educational setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide program and administrative support to assist the development, implementation, review and continuous improvement of VCE, VPC and VCE VET-related priorities for senior secondary students.
• Prepare written communications, including briefings, correspondence and draft guidance materials for stakeholders.
• Respond to phone and email enquiries, providing accurate and timely advice on routine matters and escalating more complex issues where required.
• Maintain and update webpage content and other communication materials to ensure information is accurate and current.
• Coordinate events, meetings and professional learning activities to support stakeholder engagement and program implementation.
• Support the development of qualitative and quantitative data collection activities to inform programs of work across the unit.
• Liaise with schools and other stakeholders to support program delivery within manager parameters.
