Job summary

Westpac is seeking a Senior Scrum Master for Financial Crime Transformation in Sydney. You will support cross‑functional teams, facilitate Agile ceremonies, and remove blockers to drive delivery velocity and accountability.

You will work with Release Train Leads, Product Owners, Business Analysts, and technology teams to manage sprint delivery and provide visibility through Jira and Confluence. The role offers hybrid and flexible working arrangements.

Qualifications

• Strong experience as a Scrum Master within large organisations.
• Strong practical knowledge of Agile and Scrum ceremonies.
• Advanced experience using Jira and Confluence to manage delivery and reporting.
• Proven ability to use delivery metrics to improve flow and predictability.

Responsibilities

• Lead the project team in an agile environment and deliver project scope within budget.
• Ensure project phases finish on time and on budget.
• Manage the Scrum backlog, sprint planning and daily huddles.
• Coordinate releases and delegate stories to team members.
• Manage defects and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
