Public Sector People in partnership with the Queensland State Government is seeking a Senior Release of Information Officer (AO6) to manage RTI, information privacy and release of information matters from Brisbane CBD. The role offers a temporary contract with potential extension and up to two days of work-from-home per week.

Qualifications

• Experience managing RTI, privacy, information governance or related functions.
• Strong understanding of legislative and regulatory frameworks.
• Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with professionalism.
• Experience handling complex cases and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

• Manage RTI, information privacy and administrative access applications with compliance.
• Handle complex requests, privacy complaints, breaches, subpoenas and release matters.
• Coordinate reviews, appeals and stakeholder engagement with oversight bodies.
• Develop policies, reports, training and advice for internal/external stakeholders.
