Queensland Building & Construction Commission in Brisbane seeks an experienced leader to head the Right to Information and Privacy function. You will guide a seven-member team, ensuring timely, lawful and customer-focused outcomes while managing priorities, workloads and statutory timeframes.

You will provide expert guidance on RTI, privacy, disclosure, data handling and security. The role offers hybrid working with mandatory in-office presence in Brisbane and opportunities to evolve privacy

Formación

• Demonstrated management-level experience in Right to Information and Privacy.
• Strong knowledge of privacy, administrative law and public sector governance.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, coach and develop the Right to Information and Privacy team members.
• Provide trusted advice on complex legislative and information-handling matters.
• Strengthen policies, procedures, reporting and quality assurance.
• Identify trends, risks and opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Administer the administrative access policy and help embed the privacy management framework.
• Liaise with regulator and participate in mediation to enhance learning.
• Provide weekly RTI statistics and oversee data for annual reporting.
