Job summary

Australian Regional and Remote Community Services – Cairns QLD is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to support residents at Yutjuwala Djiwarr Flexible Aged Care in Nhulunbuy, NT. You will lead clinical care, supervise staff, and ensure people-centered quality care in line with ARRCS values.

The role requires relocation to Nhulunbuy, with a comprehensive benefits package, salary sacrifice options, accommodation, and flexible rostering opportunities. VISA sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of 12 months experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in Aged Care.
• Full working rights to work in Australia.
• Experience in multidisciplinary and multicultural care teams.
• Knowledge of clinical governance policies and implementation.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills with intermediate computer skills.
• Must have vaccination and checks or willingness to obtain before starting.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care to residents in the aged care setting.
• Lead, supervise and support less experienced staff to ensure quality care.
• Assist with governance, policy review and staff development.
• Relocate to Nhulunbuy and work flexibly within rostering needs.
