Job summary

Curis Recruitment partners with an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service in the Northern Territory to recruit a Registered Nurse for a Remote Area Nursing role. This is a permanent full-time position with comprehensive support and a focus on developing remote nursing skills alongside an experienced team.

You will provide primary health care and acute services, manage chronic conditions, and conduct assessments while collaborating with local practitioners.

Qualifications

• Fully registered with AHPRA with no restrictions.
• Minimum of 3 years post-graduate nursing experience.
• Experience in primary health care, rural or emergency nursing is desirable.
• Commitment to culturally safe and respectful healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary health care and acute clinical services.
• Manage chronic diseases and preventive health care.
• Conduct health assessments and clinical consultations.
• Collaborate with Aboriginal Health Practitioners and other healthcare professionals.
• Develop clinical autonomy and remote nursing skills.
• Participate in a 2–3 times per week on-call roster.
