Job summary

Evolution Mining's Cowal Gold Operations in New South Wales is seeking a Senior Return to Work Advisor to lead complex injury management and recovery at work programs, partnering with site leaders, health professionals and stakeholders to achieve safe outcomes.

You'll manage workers’ compensation claims, provide expert advice on fitness for work, monitor performance and drive continuous improvement across injury management systems.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualifications in occupational health, rehabilitation, allied health, nursing, workers compensation, human resources or a related discipline.
• Current SIRA NSW Return to Work Coordinator training (or recognised equivalent).
• Significant experience managing workplace injuries, workers compensation claims and recovery at work programs.
• Demonstrated capability managing complex and high-risk cases independently.
• Strong working knowledge of NSW workers compensation and associated legislative requirements.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, coaching and influencing skills.
• A current unrestricted driver's licence.
• Experience within mining, heavy industry, construction or another safety critical environment will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex injury management and workers compensation cases through to successful recovery outcomes.
• Partner with leaders, employees and medical providers to develop effective recovery at work plans.
• Provide trusted advice on injury management, workers compensation and fitness for work matters.
• Monitor claims performance, identify trends and deliver insights that improve outcomes and reduce costs.
• Coach leaders and strengthen organisational capability in injury management and return to work practices.
• Drive continuous improvement across injury management systems, procedures and governance.
