Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Return to Work Coordinator to lead complex injury management and workers' compensation initiatives within our client environments in NSW. You will develop effective recovery at work plans with leaders, employees and medical providers to drive successful outcomes.

You will provide expert guidance on injury management, stay abreast of NSW workers' compensation rules, and monitor claims trends to reduce costs while improving return-to-work rates.

Qualifications

• Qualified in occupational health, rehabilitation, allied health, nursing, workers compensation or related field
• Current SIRA NSW Return to Work Coordinator training
• Proven experience managing workplace injuries and recovery at work programs
• Strong knowledge of NSW workers compensation legislation
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and coaching skills
• Valid unrestricted driver's licence

Responsibilities

• Lead complex injury management and workers compensation cases through to recovery outcomes
• Partner with leaders, employees and medical providers to develop effective recovery at work plans
• Provide trusted advice on injury management, workers compensation and fitness for work
• Monitor claims performance, identify trends and deliver insights to improve outcomes and reduce costs
• Coach leaders and strengthen organisational capability in injury management and return to work practices
• Drive continuous improvement across injury management systems, procedures and governance
• Report to the Superintendent - Safety, Health and Training
