Job summary

NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service is seeking a Senior Project Officer, Retail and Customer Service, to lead statewide retail initiatives and enhance visitor experiences across NSW. This full-time role, based in Parramatta with hybrid options, focuses on aligning retail operations with technology, data, and customer service excellence.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications or equivalent professional experience in retail leadership.
• Proven ability to lead multi-site retail projects and improve processes.
• Strong data-based decision making and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with visitor centre teams and stakeholders to deliver outcomes.
• Lead the visitor centre community of practice and share best practices.
• Develop retail technology capabilities, including Salesforce and StoreConnect.
• Utilise sales, inventory and pricing data to identify opportunities.
• Refine retail practices, service standards, merchandising and pricing.
• Build capability through resources, training and coaching.
• Work with suppliers on purchasing and contract management.
• Lead complex projects and adapt priorities as NPWS evolves.
