Job summary

Valley Homes is seeking a capable estimator who can work autonomously within the support office. You will manage residential sales and production estimating for custom homes, duplexes and multi-unit projects, ensuring accuracy and timeliness across multiple simultaneous projects.

You will have a strong trade background, construction knowledge, and experience with estimating systems. This role rewards autonomy and offers potential career progression within a long-established design-build practice

Valley Homes is a long established and trusted custom design builder working throughoutthe Newcastle, Port Stephens, Maitland, Cessnock and Lake Macquarie areas specialising in custom designed homes, duplexes and multi unit/houseprojects for over 50 years.

The Role

You are a highly capable individual who can work autonomously as well as part of the support office team. You have solid experience as a residential sales & production estimator and can handle multiple projects at any one time including custom homes, duplexes and multi-unit projects whilst consistently delivering accurate estimating. This role will involve:

Residential sales & production estimating including multi house / unit projects, dual occupancies and custom homes

Producing accurate documentation within budgeted timelines

Resolving ordering oversights and making amendments as required

Maintaining a thorough knowledge of company products and services

Communicating with sales, supervisors, suppliers, trades people, administrators and contractors.

To be considered for this role you must have:

Construction knowledge and a trade background

5 years experience with estimating systems and methodology

Competency with Microsoft Office and BusinessCraft estimating software an advantage
