Design & Build Recruitment in the Sydney Hills District NSW is seeking a hands-on Estimator with solid residential construction estimating experience. You will price projects from plans, perform take-offs, and secure subcontractor pricing to ensure accurate, commercially sound estimates.

The role spans pre-construction/sales estimating and production estimating, with emphasis on high-end custom homes and renovations across Sydney.

Qualifications

• Experience in residential construction estimating.
• Proficient with take-offs and pricing.
• Knowledge of estimating software such as Databuild or Cubit.

Responsabilités

• Prepare accurate estimates and tenders from architectural and construction plans.
• Complete detailed quantity take-offs and pricing.
• Obtain and assess subcontractor and supplier pricing.
• Review plans and documentation to identify scope and cost requirements.
• Allow for labour, materials, trades and construction costs.
• Identify discrepancies, omissions and potential cost risks.
• Update estimates with design changes and revised documentation.
• Assist with variations and cost changes throughout the project lifecycle.
• Work with internal design, construction and project teams to ensure accuracy.
