Morson Edge in Sydney’s Inner West is seeking an Estimator to join their close-knit design and build team, delivering custom residential projects across Sydney’s Inner West. You’ll work across estimating, tendering, procurement and cost planning, with genuine progression towards a Project Manager role.

The role runs Monday–Friday with 7:30am–4:00pm hours, based on site in the Inner West. You’ll gain exposure across pre-construction and project delivery, with a portfolio focused on custom

Formación

• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
• Strong numerical and cost estimation skills.
• Experience in estimating, contracts administration or residential construction.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare estimates, tenders and quantity take-offs.
• Review drawings, specifications and tender documentation.
• Obtain and compare subcontractor and supplier pricing.
• Prepare trade scopes and assist with procurement.
• Assist with project costings and variations.
• Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams.

A reputable residential design and build company is looking for an Estimator to join their close-knit team delivering custom residential projects across Sydney’s Inner West.

You’ll work across estimating, tendering, procurement and cost planning, with genuine progression towards a Project Manager role.

THE ROLE

• Prepare estimates, tenders and quantity take-offs
• Review architectural drawings, specifications and tender documentation
• Obtain and compare subcontractor and supplier pricing
• Prepare trade scopes and assist with procurement
• Assist with project costings and variations
• Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers and internal project teams
• Support the transition of projects from pre-construction into delivery

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• 3+ years’ experience within the construction industry
• Experience in estimating, contracts administration or residential construction
• Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings
• Good numerical skills and strong attention to detail
• Construction Management/Building qualification and Databuild experience highly regarded
