Job summary

Evolution Mining’s Northparkes Operations seeks a Senior Reliability Engineer to influence site-wide asset performance and drive reliability initiatives. You’ll partner with maintenance, operations and technical teams to enhance equipment reliability and reduce risk, delivering long-term value across the operation.

You’ll report to the Reliability Superintendent and work on a 5:2/4:3 residential roster, balancing career growth with work-life quality while supporting multi-disciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Proven reliability engineering experience in mining/heavy industry.
• Strong ability in asset strategy development and root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead reliability improvement initiatives to boost asset availability and reduce downtime.
• Drive defect elimination and root cause analysis to solve recurring issues.
• Develop and optimise asset maintenance strategies to enhance reliability and lifecycle value.
• Provide technical leadership, coaching and support to reliability engineers across the site.
• Deliver insights via equipment performance analysis to guide maintenance and investment decisions.
• Strengthen governance and compliance via auditing and reporting.
