Job summary

AFCA is seeking an experienced Release Train Engineer to lead end-to-end delivery across complex technology-enabled programs in a regulated, not-for-profit environment. You will unite business and technology teams, manage dependencies, remove impediments and drive value.

You will coach Scrum Masters and Product Owners, run SAFe ceremonies, and report delivery status to senior stakeholders. Hybrid working with two days in office supports flexible arrangements.

Qualifications

• 10+ years leading complex technology-enabled projects.
• Experience in enterprise delivery and transformation.
• Experience delivering through Agile and SAFe at scale.
• Proven Scrum Master experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of complex technology-enabled initiatives and value streams.
• Facilitate key Agile Release Train events including PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, Product Owner Syncs and System Demos.
• Establish and lead SAFe delivery structures aligned with enterprise governance and risk requirements.
• Translate organisational strategy and customer experience objectives into clear delivery plans, roadmaps and outcomes.
• Coordinate delivery across business analysis, technology and process design, build, testing and implementation.
• Manage complex dependencies, risks and impediments across multiple teams and workstreams.
• Bring together internal technology and operational teams, vendors, system integrators and other delivery partners.
• Provide clear reporting and delivery assurance to senior stakeholders and governance forums.
• Coach Scrum Masters, Product Owners, delivery teams and stakeholders in Lean-Agile and SAFe practices.
• Support teams to continuously improve how they work and deliver value.
• Act as a change agent, helping people adopt new capabilities, technology and ways of working.
