Job summary

Gosourcing Pty Ltd is seeking a Senior Release Train Engineer (EL1/EL1-EL2) for a Federal Government client. The role requires agile leadership to coordinate with stakeholders, escalate blockages, and champion continuous improvement in a hybrid work setup across ACT/QLD/VIC.

Citizenship and Baseline clearance are required. The position starts 01 Jan 2027 with an initial 12-month contract, extendable up to 24 months.

Qualifications

SFIA level-5 objective measurement establishment and improvement guidance.
SFIA level-4 guidance for methods/tools adoption and policy adherence.
SFIA level-5 identification and planning of capability improvements.
SFIA level-5 facilitation of workgroups and team performance.
SFIA level-4 specialist advisory scope and boundaries of knowledge.

Responsibilities

Lead and support operations of the team, setting priorities and managing resources.
Oversee staff performance, attendance and wellbeing.
Develop staff capability through coaching and succession planning.
Monitor work output and quality against performance standards.
Define and communicate release management processes and governance.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve project outcomes.
Ensure approvals before production moves and milestones are met on time and budget.
