Job summary

Civil Aviation Safety Authority – Cairns QLD is seeking a Senior Regulatory Service Adviser and Office Coordinator to deliver regulatory services and coordinate day-to-day office operations from the Cairns CBD office. This full-time role runs Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.

You will balance regulatory work with practical office coordination, liaising with contractors and service providers to maintain efficient services and a respectful workplace.

Qualifications

• Customer service and/or office administration experience relevant to the position and operating environment.
• Desirable: Stakeholder engagement and management experience relevant to the position and operating environment.
• Desirable: Understanding of financial management concepts (forecasting and budget monitoring).

Responsibilities

• Process regulatory activities, applications and approvals accurately and efficiently.
• Provide high-quality regulatory and administrative support.
• Maintain accurate records and regulatory systems.
• Contribute to consistent and timely regulatory outcomes.
• Coordinate office facilities, equipment, IT assets and workplace resources.
• Liaise with contractors, service providers and building management.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and service delivery.
• Contribute to a safe, respectful and collaborative workplace.
