Air Everywhere NSW is seeking a Senior Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technician to lead our Artarmon-based operations. You will deliver high-quality refrigeration and air conditioning services while mentoring junior staff and maintaining hands-on technical expertise.

Qualifications

• Current ARC Licence (Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Contractor) or equivalent certification.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in refrigeration and air conditioning installation, maintenance and repair work.
• Advanced technical knowledge of refrigerant handling, electrical systems, mechanical components and system diagnostics.
• Proven experience supervising and training junior technicians or apprentices.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations, environmental compliance and industry best practices.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics and system specifications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex system faults efficiently.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to clients and team members.
• Valid driver's licence and police check.
• Experience with commercial and industrial systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, repair and service refrigeration and air conditioning systems across residential, commercial and industrial applications.
• Diagnose complex mechanical and electrical faults using specialised testing equipment and provide effective solutions.
• Conduct system inspections, performance tests and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal functionality and compliance with industry standards.
• Mentor and supervise junior technicians, providing on-the-job training and guidance to develop their technical skills.
• Prepare detailed quotations and work reports for clients, communicating technical information clearly.
• Ensure all work complies with relevant safety regulations, environmental standards and company procedures.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all work completed, parts used and time spent on each job.
• Liaise with clients to understand their requirements and ensure satisfaction with completed work.

What we're looking for
