Job summary

Red Airconditioning in Albury, NSW is seeking a highly skilled Senior Refrigeration Technician to maintain, repair, install and commission domestic and commercial air-conditioning systems. This full-time role offers stable employment with a local leader.

You will liaise with service agreement clients, commission systems, perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot faults, install new equipment, mentor apprentices and keep thorough records, all while following safety standards.

Qualifications

• Formal qualifications in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (Certificate III/IV).
• Full Refrigerant Handling Licence is required.
• Minimum 5 years hands-on experience in domestic and commercial/industrial settings.
• Strong knowledge of air-conditioning components, fault finding and repair techniques.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise with clients and team.

About the role Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Refrigeration Technician to join our team at Red Airconditioning in Albury, NSW. This full-time role is responsible for the maintenance, repair and installation and commissioning of domestic and commercial air-conditioning systems.

What you'll be doing

Liaising with existing and securing additional service agreement clients

Commissioning air-conditioning systems, both domestic and commercial

Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on air-conditioning systems

Identify and troubleshoot issues with air-conditioning systems, and carry out necessary repairs

Install new equipment as required

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to apprentices

Maintain detailed records of all work completed

Ensure all work is performed in compliance with relevant safety standards and regulations

What we're looking for

Formal qualifications in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, such as a Certificate III or IV and a full Refrigerant Handling Licence.

Minimum 5 years' hands-on experience, preferably in both domestic and commercial/industrial settings

Extensive knowledge of air-conditioning system components, fault finding and repair techniques

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to quickly diagnose and resolve issues

Excellent communication skills to liaise with clients and team members

A current driver's licence

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
