Job summary

Red Airconditioning in Albury, NSW is seeking a highly skilled Senior Refrigeration Technician to maintain, repair, install and commission domestic and commercial air-conditioning systems. This full-time role offers stable employment with a local leader.

You will liaise with service agreement clients, commission systems, perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot faults, install new equipment, mentor apprentices and keep thorough records, all while following safety standards.

Qualifications

• Formal qualifications in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (Certificate III/IV).
• Full Refrigerant Handling Licence is required.
• Minimum 5 years hands-on experience in domestic and commercial/industrial settings.
• Strong knowledge of air-conditioning components, fault finding and repair techniques.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise with clients and team.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with existing service agreement clients and secure additional ones.
• Commission air-conditioning systems for domestic and commercial sites.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on systems.
• Identify and troubleshoot issues and carry out repairs.
• Install new equipment as required.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to apprentices.
• Maintain detailed records of all work completed.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
