Job summary

Chandler Macleod is seeking an experienced Senior Recruitment Consultant to lead and grow a portfolio of key mining customers across Queensland. • Demonstrated experience in account management, workforce solutions, recruitment, or related field.
• Proven track record growing customer accounts and delivering commercial outcomes.
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building capability.
• Experience in mining, resources, or industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage key customer relationships across the Queensland mining portfolio.
• Build trusted partnerships with operational, commercial, and leadership stakeholders.
• Identify and secure opportunities to grow workforce demand and expand service offerings.
• Drive job order generation, workforce growth, and account development initiatives.
• Partner with recruitment teams to ensure workforce requirements are fulfilled efficiently and effectively.
• Lead workforce planning discussions and provide proactive workforce solutions.
• Act as the escalation point for customer and workforce-related matters.
• Support employee and industrial relations matters, investigations, performance management, and workforce issues.
• Oversee safety, incident, injury management, and return-to-work processes in partnership with internal stakeholders.
• Provide leadership and support to onsite Workforce Coordinators.
• Ensure contractual obligations, compliance requirements, and service standards are consistently achieved.

This is a highly visible role responsible for managing strategic customer relationships, driving commercial growth, ensuring workforce delivery excellence, and acting as the primary point of accountability for customer outcomes.

About You

• Demonstrated experience in Account Management, Workforce Solutions, Recruitment, Labour Hire, or a related industry.
• A proven track record of growing customer accounts and delivering commercial outcomes.
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building capability.
• Experience working within mining, resources, industrial, or operational environments.
• Knowledge of workforce planning, recruitment, mobilisation, and workforce management.
• Experience managing employee relations, industrial relations, investigations, and workplace issues.
• Sound understanding of workplace health and safety, incident management, injury management, and return-to-work processes.
• Strong commercial acumen and business development capability.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
• The ability to operate autonomously, solve problems, and manage competing priorities.
