Job summary

Chandler Macleod is seeking a Senior Recruitment Consultant to lead a mining-focused portfolio across Queensland. You will manage strategic customer relationships, drive commercial growth, and ensure workforce delivery excellence in a fast-paced environment.

You will collaborate with Recruitment, Operations, Safety, Payroll and Support Teams to deliver workforce solutions that meet operational demands while creating long-term value for both client and Chandler Macleod.

Qualifications

• Experience in account management, workforce solutions, recruitment and labour hire within mining or industrial sectors.
• Proven history of growing customer accounts and delivering commercial outcomes.
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building abilities.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage key customer relationships across the Queensland mining portfolio.
• Build trusted partnerships with operational, commercial, and leadership stakeholders.
• Identify and secure opportunities to grow workforce demand and expand service offerings.
• Drive job order generation, workforce growth, and account development initiatives.
• Partner with recruitment teams to ensure workforce requirements are fulfilled efficiently and effectively.
• Lead workforce planning discussions and provide proactive workforce solutions.
• Act as the escalation point for customer and workforce-related matters.
• Support employee and industrial relations matters, investigations, performance management, and workforce issues.
• Oversee safety, incident, injury management, and return-to-work processes in partnership with internal stakeholders.
• Provide leadership and support to onsite Workforce Coordinators.
• Ensure contractual obligations, compliance requirements, and service standards are consistently achieved.

Chandler Macleod is seeking an experienced Senior Recruitment Consultant to lead and grow a portfolio of key mining customers across Queensland. This is a highly visible role responsible for managing strategic customer relationships, driving commercial growth, ensuring workforce delivery excellence, and acting as the primary point of accountability for customer outcomes.

Working closely with Recruitment, Operations, Safety, Payroll, and Support Teams, you will partner with customers to deliver workforce solutions that meet operational demands while creating long-term value for both the customer and Chandler Macleod.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Demonstrated experience in Account Management, Workforce Solutions, Recruitment, Labour Hire, or a related industry.


• A proven track record of growing customer accounts and delivering commercial outcomes.


• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building capability.


• Experience working within mining, resources, industrial, or operational environments.


• Knowledge of workforce planning, recruitment, mobilisation, and workforce management.


• Experience managing employee relations, industrial relations, investigations, and workplace issues.


• Sound understanding of workplace health and safety, incident management, injury management, and return-to-work processes.


• Strong commercial acumen and business development capability.


• Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.


• The ability to operate autonomously, solve problems, and manage competing priorities.
