Blacktown City Council is seeking a Senior Rates Officer to help keep the council's rating functions accurate, compliant and running smoothly. You will manage rating systems, reconcile valuations, process rates and charges, and oversee debt recovery and monthly and year-end reporting.

You will work closely with the Chief Rates Officer, providing technical guidance to the Rates team and ensuring notices are issued accurately while reviewing exemptions and subdivisions.

Responsabilités

• Manage rating systems and processes, reconcile valuations and process rates and charges.
• Oversee debt recovery matters and complete monthly and end-of-year reporting.
• Investigate complex rating matters and respond to enquiries from ratepayers, government agencies and teams across Council.
