Qualifikationen

• A relevant qualification in a related field such as business, property or accounting with relevant experience; or extensive relevant experience.
• Sound knowledge of legislation relevant to Council rating functions.
• Extensive knowledge and experience in rating systems, property and rating processes and administrative requirements.
• Ability to prepare and review financial reports and analyses related to rates and revenue.

Aufgaben

• Manage complex rating matters and ensure compliance with legislation and Council policies.
• Maintain the accuracy and integrity of Council's property and rating databases.
• Assess and administer rate rebates, relief applications and specialised rating processes.
• Resolve technical issues relating to property and rating systems and identify process improvements.
• Provide specialist advice, support and training to colleagues and internal stakeholders.
• Prepare reports and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the service.
