Job summary

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. is expanding its Rail team in Perth, Western Australia, seeking a Senior Associate Rail Engineer to drive the next growth chapter. You will blend technical leadership with client engagement to deliver high-value rail infrastructure outcomes across mining and government sectors.

You will lead multidisciplinary teams, develop trusted client relationships, and leverage Jacobs’ global network to deliver best-in-class solutions in the ANZ region.

Qualifications

• Significant experience within the rail industry, including senior leadership responsibilities across engineering, design and project delivery, ideally in Western Australia.
• Well established client networks within Western Australia across the mining sector and government transport agencies.
• Demonstrated experience in developing trusted client relationships and converting opportunities into project outcomes.
• Proven capability in business development, client engagement and strategic growth initiatives.
• Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams and complex infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects with strong technical leadership and market-facing responsibilities across a diverse rail infrastructure portfolio.
• Support pursuits, proposals and work-winning activities in partnership with client account, sales and technical leadership teams.
• Provide technical leadership across multidisciplinary rail projects, ensuring safe, high-quality and commercially successful delivery.
• Oversee project delivery, design and project management activities across rail projects.
• Leverage Jacobs' global technical network to deliver best-in-class solutions for clients.
• Mentor and develop rail professionals while expanding Jacobs' rail capability in WA and ANZ.
