Jacobs is seeking a Senior Associate Rail Engineer in Perth, WA, to lead complex rail projects and drive business development across the mining and government transport sectors. You’ll shape Jacobs’ rail presence in Western Australia by leveraging a global technical network and delivering high-value outcomes for clients.

The role requires significant leadership experience across engineering, design and project delivery, with strong client relationships within WA.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in rail with senior leadership across engineering, design and delivery.
• Well established client networks in Western Australia across mining and government transport.
• Proven ability to develop trusted client relationships and convert opportunities into projects.
• Strong capability in business development, client engagement and strategic growth.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams on complex rail infrastructure projects.
• Expertise in rail design practices including track design, renewals, and asset maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects combining rail engineering excellence with business development and market leadership.
• Build and strengthen relationships with mining and transport clients, identifying opportunities.
• Provide technical leadership across rail projects ensuring safe, high-quality delivery.
• Direct project delivery, design and management across diverse rail infrastructure portfolios.
• Leverage Jacobs' global network to deliver best-in-class rail solutions.
• Mentor rail professionals and grow Jacobs' rail capability in WA and ANZ.
