Job summary

Jacobs in Perth is seeking an Associate Civil Engineer to join the Transport team, responsible for leading delivery of transport and civil projects across Australia and New Zealand, coordinating with senior staff and multidisciplinary teams.

You will mentor junior engineers, manage design, scope, schedule and budget, build client relationships, and collaborate with local and global delivery teams to leverage expertise.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering civil infrastructure or transport projects in a consulting environment.
• Strong design management and project delivery capabilities.
• Ability to build and maintain client relationships and represent the business with confidence.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and coordinating project stakeholders.
• Collaborative approach and passion for mentoring and developing others.
• Sound commercial awareness and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead project delivery, design management and client engagement across transport and civil infrastructure projects.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, represent the Transport team at key meetings and contribute to business growth.
• Oversee project scope, programme and commercial performance, ensuring efficient and high‑standard delivery.
• Mentor and support junior engineers, fostering a collaborative, high‑performing culture.
• Collaborate with local and global delivery teams to leverage worldwide expertise.
