Job summary

John Holland in Perth is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead rail delivery planning and execution. You will define work sites, develop work packages, manage risk and coordinate with client stakeholders to ensure safe, on-time delivery of major rail infrastructure projects.

You will bring 10+ years of engineering experience, strong knowledge of rail possession planning, and proficiency with Primavera P6, Power BI, and GIS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
• 10+ years post‑graduate engineering experience, including site exposure.
• Strong knowledge of rail infrastructure planning and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the development of detailed work scopes and delivery methodologies for each Work Site and Work Package.
• Lead the engineering scoping program and coordinate Work Package staging and programming.
• Plan, review and validate rail corridor scoping requirements with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with core engineering disciplines to integrate comprehensive scopes of work.
• Identify and manage risks; develop sequencing strategies for efficient project delivery.
