Job summary

Qantas Airways is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer at our new Product Innovation Centre in Adelaide to help embed robust testing strategies and automation that uphold software reliability, performance, and security for a cabin crew–facing app.

You will work with a cross-functional product team to design, implement and continuously improve test approaches, while contributing to automation and ensuring quality throughout the development lifecycle, including offline and low-connectivity scenarios.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of enterprise QA experience.
• Hands-on mobile app testing and API testing.
• Experience with iOS MDM devices.
• Strong API testing and end-to-end integration testing.
• Familiarity with offline/low-connectivity testing.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement test strategies for a cabin crew–facing app.
• Contribute to automation and ensure quality is embedded in the lifecycle.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers in cross-functional teams.
• Promote quality best practices and improve test coverage.
