Job summary

Susquehanna International Group (SIG) is seeking an experienced Python Developer with data visualization expertise to support Compliance and Trading Risk tech in APAC from Sydney. You will build dashboards and integrate third-party monitoring APIs to give real-time oversight of trading activity.

You will collaborate with Compliance, Trading Risk, traders and technologists to translate regulatory requirements into robust solutions, across multiple asset classes, in a production environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Python developer.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Experience in trading firm, investment bank or other financial institution preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, able to explain concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong proficiency in Python with data visualization libraries (e.g., pandas, Plotly, Dash).
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Python-based applications and dashboards for Compliance and Trading Risk oversight.
• Integrate APIs from third-party trade surveillance platforms into internal systems.
• Build interactive, data-rich dashboards providing real-time visibility into APAC trading activity.
• Collaborate with Compliance and Trading Risk stakeholders to translate regulatory requirements into technical solutions.
• Understand data pipelines, APIs, databases and dashboard layers and how they connect.
• Write clean, well-tested code, participate in code reviews and support in large-scale production.
