Job summary

Gough Recruitment is seeking a Senior Property Manager for an established portfolio in Sydney's Northern Suburbs. You will take ownership of a residential portfolio and build strong relationships with owners and tenants.

The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule, strong administrative support, and a pathway to contribute to a growing, well-known brand with a strong local presence. A car allowance is included for the right level of experience.

Qualifications

• Strong residential Property Management experience.
• Confidence managing more complex tenancy matters and SACAT rulings.
• Current SA Property Management Registration is required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Strong organisational and communication skills with autonomy.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Manage an established residential portfolio in the Northern Suburbs.
• Maintain strong relationships with owners and tenants.
• Handle maintenance, arrears, renewals and general portfolio matters.
• Address complex tenancy matters including SACAT rulings and tenancy agreements.
• Ensure the portfolio is well maintained and well managed, interfacing with the team.
• Utilise PropertyMe to manage the portfolio and coordinate with the wider team.

The Position

This is an opportunity to take over an established portfolio with approximately 80% of the properties based in the Northern Suburbs.

You will be supported with additional administration support within the office.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing an established residential portfolio
• Maintaining strong relationships with owners and tenants
• Managing maintenance, arrears, renewals and general portfolio matters
• Handling more complex tenancy matters including SACAT rulings and tenancy agreements
• Ensuring the portfolio is well maintained and managed
• Working closely with the wider Property Management team
• Using PropertyMe to manage your portfolio

The Criteria

We are looking for an experienced and capable Senior Property Manager who takes ownership of their portfolio and genuinely cares about delivering a good outcome for their clients.

You will ideally have:

• Strong residential Property Management experience
• Confidence managing more complex tenancy matters
• Experience with SACAT and tenancy agreements
• A current SA Property Management Registration
• A current driver's licence
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• The ability to work autonomously while contributing to a team
• A reliable, accountable and proactive approach
• A genuine care factor for your clients, tenants and team
